Funeral services for Leon C. Coblens, veteran department store executive, who died at Sinai Hospital yesterday after a long illness, will be held tomorrow afternoon.
Connected with local department stores for about fifty years, Coblens was vice-president of the May Company at the time of his death. He was sixty-four years old and was known as a philanthropist, contributing heavily to local charities. He was prominent in social as well as business circles, and had been president of the Phoenix Club for four years.
A bachelor, the deceased is survived by four sisters and a brother.
