To the Editor, Jewish Daily Bulletin:

In looking over the press space which our twentieth annual convention received in the newspapers of this country, I am struck by the number and excellence of the stories sent out by the Jewish Telegraphic Agency and those used in the Jewish Daily Bulletin before, during and since the convention.

To be sure, your news agency and publication have been consistently generous in handling news of Hadassah, but the occasion of the convention has brought your splendid “coverage” into bolder relief. I want to convey to you and the members of your staff Hadassah’s sincere appreciation for your and their fine cooperation.

APPROVES CHANGES

To the Editor, Jewish Daily Bulletin:

Permit me, as a constant reader who has been watching the development of the Jewish Daily Bulletin for several years, to compliment you on the recent improvement in contents and appearance of the paper during the past few weeks. The Bulletin has undoubtedly gone well to provide an editorial page upon which it can express its stand on the various issues of Jewish life here and abroad, many of which are so involved that the average reader requires guidance in evaluating them.

COMMENTS ON ZIFF SERIES

To the Editor, Jewish Daily Bulletin:

Permit me to congratulate you on Mr. Ziff’s articles appearing in the Jewish Daily Bulletin, “Jewry Must About Face.” You have struck a responding chord in my very soul. If we Jews are to get anywhere in this world, we must gain the respect of our enemies as well as of our friends.

To the Editor, Jewish Daily Bulletin:

I have been reading the articles of W. B. Ziff and I must say I felt thrilled just as when I read long ago Auto-Emancipation by Pinsker, it made me feel like a new person.

Oscar Willen,

Upper Darby, Pa.

To the Editor, Jewish Daily Bulletin:

“Jewry Must About Face” has interested me more than any article on Jewry that I have read in some time. Mr. Ziff certainly has the right dope to my mind and I am anxious to read his “answer” to the Jewish problem. He very ably, eloquently and forcefully presents what is probably the attitude of the younger Jewish generation and let us hope it will be the foundation of a “New Jewish Deal. “

A COMPLIMENT

To the Editor, Jewish Daily Bulletin:

May I take this opportunity to extend to you my sincere congratulations for the excellent paper you publish. A paper such as yours should find its way not only into every Jewish but non-Jewish home in our country so as to make a better understanding between all faiths to the end that prejudice and hate may forever be banished from the minds and hearts of sensible men and women.
