A total of $4,000 already has been raised in a United Jewish Appeal campaign here. Officers are William P. Engel, chairman; J. H. Loveman, Louis Pizitz, Jacob Burger and Benjamin A. Roth.
A Jasper, Ala., campaign, soon to open, will be headed by S. A. Shapiro and Herman Weinstein. Gadsden’s campaign will be led by N. Raskin, Albert Hagedorn and Isidore Zemurray.
