Hillel at Michigan to Confer Torah Titles

Hillel Foundation at the University of Michigan will confer the title of Ben Torah and Bas Torah upon young men and women, respectively, who attain “Jewish insight and maturity” through courses of study, lectures and seminars as prescribed by the educational committee of the Foundation.

CONGRESS HOUSE TO GIVE CONCERT FOR REFUGEES

A concert, the first of a series of entertainments in behalf of German exiles will be given Sunday evening at the American Jewish Congress House, 50 West Sixty-eighth street, under auspices of the women’s division of the American Jewish Congress. The Dorian String Quartette, will be featured. Congress House was this week dedicated as a recreational center for German refugees in this country.
