The Vaad Harabonim, as a further measure to enforce the Kashruth Association plan of centralized supervision, proposed to picket markets not under contract with the Association.

Support for the issur also came from the Bronx Young Israel which yesterday made public a resolution to the effect.

The Young Israel, to spur support of the issur, will hold a mass meeting at 1205 Ward avenue, the Bronx, tonight. The following rabbis will speak: Samuel Reichman, L. Predmesky, H. Choderoff, Lazar Schoenfeld, M. Garfinkel and Y. I. Idelson.

The Kashruth Association yesterday announced that one of the largest markets in the East Side contracted for rabbinical supervision by the Association. This market was formerly supervised by Rabbi Benjamin Fleischer, who recently turned opponent of the issur on moral grounds although he presided at ceremonies marking pronouncement of the issur in his synagogue.
