Twenty-two Brooklyn congregations will send delegations to the first annual dinner of the Brooklyn Council of the United Synagogue of America, which will be held at the Brooklyn Jewish Center, 667 Eastern parkway, Sunday night, it was announced yesterday by Samuel Rothstein, chairman of the dinner committee.
Details of a plan sponsored by the Brooklyn Council whereby an award will be made annually to the person, Jew or non-Jew, who has been of greatest service to Brooklyn Jewry during the year will be announced at the dinner.
