“The Jewish community of Washington must become the most alert, the most active and the most influential in the country in order to serve the Jewish cause properly,” declared Rabbi William F. Rosenblum of New York before a meeting of Argo Lodge, I. O. B. B., here. He also urged that this city become the “capital” city where Jewish leadership will be able to speak with dignity and purpose whenever a question arises which affects the Jewish people.
