A meeting of the New York State Association of Occupational Therapists and an elaborate exhibit of the handicraft of patients suffering from chronic diseases featured “occupational therapy day” yesterday at Montefiore Hospital as a part of its fiftieth anniversary celebration. The visiting occupational therapists attended a conference presided over by leading orthopedic authorities, who presented latest developments in the treatment of joint diseases. Later the visitors viewed the exhibit and attended a marionette show produced by hospital patients.

The exhibit will be open to the public for the duration of the week.
