Convict 2 Butchers, Free 30 Others on Food Law Charges

Archie and Abe Wolfson, 858 Gerard Avenue, the Bronx, operators of a butcher shop, were found guilty Friday in Bronx Special Sessions of violating the State kosher laws. They will be sentenced December 14.

Inspectors Bruno Frankel and Patrick J. McKenna, of the Department of Markets, testified that they found non kosher meat in the store.

Three others held on similar charges were freed on a motion for dismissal by their counsel, Nathan Immerman. The three are Nathan Weitzmann, Nathan Shub and WilliamMunter, all of the Bronx.
