Senator Robert F. Wagner is fully in agreement with observance of the first annual Palestine Day on January 20, he announced in a letter to Morris Rothenberg, president of the Zionist Organization of America.
“The first Palestine Day in America should occasion an outpouring of good will from Jew and Gentile alike that may be canalized so as to effectuate the ideals of love and justice that all good people hold in common,” Senator Wagner wrote.
At the same time the Zionist organization announced that sessions of the National Conference on Palestine, which opens January 20, will be held in the Memorial Continental Hall of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
