Eddie Cantor, film, radio and stage comedian now touring Europe, was granted an audience at Venezia Palace here today by Premier Mussolini, who discussed with the actor his plans for making moving pictures in Italy with American capital.
With Cantor was John L. Mc-Bride, United States attache, who came to the comedian’s rescue when it was discovered that he had forgotten his passport and his ticket of admission to Il Duce’s presence.
