A native of Nordhausen, Germany, Mr. Frenkel came to the United States in 1878. After a brief insurance experience in Cleveland he established himself permanently in New York.

He leaves a daughter, Mrs. Carrie F. Sinn, and two sons, Leo S. and George P. Frenkel, partners in their father’s firm.
