Health Convention Opens in Paris

A four-day conference of the OZE-TOZ organization, which is devoted to promoting ideals of health among the Jewish population in Central and Eastern European countries, was formally opened here today.

Among those present at the opening were Senator Justin Godart, honorary president of the society; Professor Besredka, president; twenty-five delegates from various countries and 300 guests, including many French deputies.

A report on the mental state of Jews as influenced by persecutions was read by Professor Minkowski, while Dr. Julius Brutzkus reported on “Jewish Health.” Dr. Bernhard Kahn, Baron Guntzbourg and Chief Rabbi Weill also were among the speakers.
