The great “House of Chemistry” has been formally opened here in the presence of President Lebrun and a large gathering of distinguished scientists.

Built by the contributions of sixty-five nations and dedicated to the memory of the late Dr. Ludwig Mond, the institution will be the seat of the International Union of Chemistry and the International Chemistry Office. It will centralize the research work of the world.
