Plans for an all-union Soviet conference of Jewish high schools which will serve to coordinate and unify the work of these institutions are being advanced by a group of literary critics and authors which includes Messrs. Nusinoff, Auslander, Gurstein, Dobroshin and Weiner.

There is now a network of such schools, some of which have existed for ten years, during which they have graduated many thousands of qualified workers in various fields. Heretofore, however, they have been disconected.

In accordance with the sponsoring group’s proposal, the first conference is to be comprised of schools giving instructior in literature and language.
