Vienna School Effects ‘aryan’ Clause in Study

“For Aryans Only” is the legend affixed to applications for membership in branch groups, or seminars, for the study of national economy, foreign languages and other subjects at the Vienna High School for Commerce, it was revealed today.

The seminars were established by the officially appointed administrator of students at the high school. Invitation to membership in them, which includes the “Aryan” stipulation, was posted on the school’s bulletin board.

Since arrangements for these study groups were officially made, representatives of Jewish students formally protested to Professor Doerfel, the rector. He replied he could not accept the protest.
