The question of a new president for Beth Israel Hospital is causing speculation in Jewish circles here.

Frank I. Liveright, head of the institution for the past twenty-three years, has announced his retirement, and while the nominating committee has agreed upon Abraham Lichtman, manufacturer, as his successor, Mr. Lichtman hasn’t “made up my mind yet.”
