“The impoverishment and pauperization of Polish Jewry,” declared Tygel, executive director o# the Federation, “has lately bee# going on at a terrifying pace. Th# declassing process among the Polish Jews is proceeding at a spee# unknown to any other group o# the population in any other country in the world.”

He indicated that the Polis# government is aiding or at leas# condoning the rise of milita# anti-Semitism is Poland.
