Far-reaching hands of Nazi officialdom in Germany reached into Milwaukee today and forced the removal of Rudolph Deckert from the German Legion of Honor, which he founded and led in the Midwest.

On direct orders from Hamburg, Germany, Deckert was deposed and charged with having cooperated with Socialist organizations dominated by “Jews, Jesuits and Masons.” He was also accused of having antagonized American pro-Nazi groups by refusing to fly the swastika at meetings of his organization. Deckert is to be tried by a “court of honor.”
