Mayor LaGuardia will deliver an address at the annual meeting of the Federation for the Support of Jewish Philanthropic Societies, which is scheduled to be held at the Community House of Congregation Emanu-El, Sixty-fifth street and Fifth avenue, January 27.
In addition to the speech by the Mayor, which will be the highlight of the meeting, reports on the position of the Federation and music will be heard.
The Federation has been in a campaign to raise $2,071,000 to wipe out a deficit incurred in supporting ninety-one Jewish welfare organizations affiliated with it.
