The League of Nations Society of Palestine has adopted a resolution urging the Council of the League of Nations to re-examine the question of security for national minorities in the Saar region at its next session, when the date of turning the Saar over to Germany will be decided.

The Union of League of Nations Societies will be approached by a committee from Palestine with a view to mobilizing the League unions in other countries to persuade the Council of the League of Nations that the decision reached to afford protection to the Jews in the Saar for one year only should be revised to insure indefinite protection of their political and civil rights.

An appeal was addressed by the League of Nations society in Palestine to Lord Robert Cecil and other prominent leaders of the International Federation of League of Nations Societies to exercise their best influence upon the members of the Council of the League of Nations in favor of extending the security of the Jews in the Saar to a period longer than twelve months.
