A sharp resolution condemning the Executive of the Jewish Agency for failure to allot sufficient immigration certificates to Palestine for Austrian Jews had been adopted today by the convention of Austrian Zionist Federation now in session here.
Stressing the desperate need of Austrian Jewry and the necessity for emigration, the resolution pointed out that very few certificates were assigned to Austria and that the number for the pioneer group adhering to the General Zionists had been sharply curtailed.
Resentment was expressed at the action of the Jewish Agency as tending to “give an unfair advantage to one Zionist party and establishing regulations destined to perpetuate the hegemony of single party in Palestine.”
