Shrinkage of American exports to Germany is in no way traceable to the anti-Nazi boycott, G. E. Harriman, executive secretary of the Non-sectarian Anti-Nazi League to Champion Human Rights, declared yesterday in reply to a statement issued by Dr, Albert Degener, secretary of the Board of Trade for German-American Commerce, but is the direct result of “the hampering effects of (Dr. Hjalmar) Schacht’s import restrictions.”
