S. I. Raskas, St. Louisan, Dies in Jerusalem

S. I. Raskas, 74, a former resident of St. Louis, Mo., died this week in Jerusalem, according to word reaching relatives here yesterday.

For the last fifteen years Mr. Raskas lived in Jerusalem, where he was active as a worker in the charitable institutions. A student of the Talmud, Mr. Raskas was a friend of Chief Rabbi A. I. Ha-Cohen Kook.

In addition to working as an optician, Abraham Ezekiel, born in Exeter in 1757, engraved paintings by Opie, Sir Joshua Reynolds and others.
