The Brooklyn Federation of Jewish Charities will celebrate the completion of twenty-five years of service to the community Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock at the annual meeting of the Federation at Union Temple, 7 Eastern Parkway.
Supreme Court Justice Mitchell May, who has served the Federation as president for three consecutive terms, is slated for reelection to that post.
Mrs. Nathan L. Goldstein is slated for election as president of the Women’s Division of the Federation, which will meet simultaneously with the Federation meeting. Mrs. Clarence G. Bachrach is retiring as president of the women’s group after serving for three consecutive terms. She will become a member of the board of directors of the Federation.
Former Supreme Court Justice Joseph M. Proskauer and Marcus S. Hankinson will be principal speakers at the meeting. Justice May will deliver his annual report, which will not only review events of the past year, but also the twenty-five years of the existence of the Federation.
Messages of greeting have been received from Jewish and non-Jewish personages all over the United States, Justice May announced.
