as the Baltic Brotherhood. Estonian schools were being flooded with Nazi propaganda. An official investigation made by the government resulted in the installation of state officials to supervise the minority schools.
NO ANTI-SEMITISM IN REGIME
This measure also was not aimed against the Jews. The Jewish population considers there is no anti-Semitism whatsoever in official circles and the Estonian population as a whole does not receive favorably anti-Semitic propaganda.
Certain publications which had permitted themselves to publish anti-Semitic articles were heavily fined. There is no discrimination whatsover against Jews in commerce and Jewish enrollment in the university has grown this year, owing to an influx of foreign students. These come mostly from Latvia, where difficulties prevail for Jewish students who wish to enter their native schools for higher education.
