Professor Albert Einstein will be the guest of honor at a reception arranged by the women’s division of the American Jewish Congress on February 27, it was announced yesterday.
The reception will be held at the Hotel Commodore. More than 2,000 persons are expected to attend, according to Mrs. Nathan D. Perlman, chairman of the reception committee.
Associated with Mrs. Perlman in the committee arranging the reception are Mrs. Bernard S. Deutsch, treasurer; Mrs. Beatrice Block, secretary. Mrs. Samuel Cahan is chairman of the hostess committee. Members of the committee include Mrs. Sue Banowitz, Mrs. Milly Brandt, Mrs. J. Cohen, Mrs. Edna Crane, Mrs. Murray Felenstein, Mrs. George I. Fox, Mrs. Pearl Frankel, Dr. Anna W. Hochfelder, Mrs. Jacob Leichtman, Mrs. Joseph M. Levine, Mrs. Abraham Ludwig, Mrs. Jerome Michael, Mrs. Max Rosenfield, Mrs. Herman Ostrow, Mrs. Jacob M. Ross, Mrs. Samuel Schulsinger, Mrs. Carl Sherman, Mrs. J. Turow, Mrs. Morris Voss, Mrs. S. Wallterstein and Mrs. J. Walder.
