Sir Robert Mond, one of the leading Jewish industrialists in England, was elected president of the Joint Representative Council for the Boycott of German Goods at the first annual meeting held by the Council here this week.

Rabbi Dr. Moses Gaster, R. D. Blumenfeld, the internationally known editor, Philip Guedalla, well known writer, and Norman Haire were elected vice-presidents of the Council.

The Council amended its constitution to read that the object of the organization shall be the taking of all lawful measures to ensure that the Jews of the British Empire abstain from purchasing or using German goods until such time as complete freedom of belief and restoration of full civil rights is accorded to all German subjects without distinction.
