The German-Jewish Club will celebrate the 800th anniversary of the birth of Maimonides on February 27, at the Community Center of Temple Israel, 210 West Ninety-first street. Dr. Trude Weiss Rosmarin, director of the School of the Jewish Woman, will speak in German on “The Philosophy of Maimonides.”
James Waterman Wise will speak at the Forum of the Brooklyn Jewish Center, 667-691 Eastern Parkway, next Monday evening.
Miss Jeanne Bershin, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harris Bershin of 209 Hawthorne street, Brooklyn, and Jeseph Mordecai Levinson, associate editor of the Daily Food News and Food Magazine, were married February 9 at the home of Charles Jaffe, 245 East Twenty-first street.
