The United Rumanian Jews of America will hold its twenty-sixth annual convention on Sunday at the Broadway Central Hotel, it was announced yesterday.
The conference will discuss conditions of Jews in Rumania, the situation in the United States and the relation of members of the organization to the movement to Democratize Jewish life in this country.
J. Rosenthal, technical counsellor to the Rumanian Legation, will address the morning session. Speakers at the morning session will include Leo Wolfson, president, and Herman Speier, secretary, who will report on the activities of the organization. An important announcement relating to future activities of the organization will be made.
The principal speakers at the afternoon session will be Dr. Samuel Margoshes, Abraham Hirsh, Bennett E. Siegelstein and Isaac Lippman, president of the Jewish Home for Convalescents.
