Professor Albert Einstein and Abraham Cahan, editor of the Jewish Daily Forward, will be honorary chairmen of a reception to be tendered to Sholom Asch, distinguished Jewish writer, on February 21, it was announced here yesterday by the reception committee. B. Charney Vladeck will be chairman of the evening.
The reception to Mr. Asch is being tendered by leaders of various Jewish organizations and by Jewish writers. Scenes from Mr. Asch’s famous plays will be presented by a group of American Jewish artists. The reception will be held at the Jewish People’s Theatre, Second avenue at Twelfth street.
