The first group of Manchukuo Jews to leave for Palestine have arrived here. It consists of eleven Jewish families who are proceeding to Jerusalem to acquire land there and settle permanently.

The eleven families all possess substantial capital which they raised through liquidation of their business firms in Manchukuo. There is an increasing tendency among the Jewish population in Manchukuo to migrate to Palestine in view of the fact that the Japanese government is pushing Jews out of commerce in Harbin and other Manchukuoan cities.
