Jewish sportsmen here were ordered by the Polish sports authorities today to participate against their will in the boxing contests between a Polish team and a similar Nazi team from Germany in Warsaw.

The Jewish athletes, all members of the Maccabi boxing club, have formally petitioned that they be permitted to abstain from participation in the meet with the Nazis. The Polish authorities, however, desiring to present as strong a squad as possible, insist that the Maccabi members participate on the Polish team.
