A new anti-Semitic practice of using the names of dead Jews to strengthen anti-Jewish agitation is exploited in the latest issue of the Deutsche Arbeiter Presse, published by Dr. Walter Riehl, leader of the Nazi party in Austria.
Dr. Riehl’s organ prints what is ostensibly a confession made by a Jew just before his death and a record of “secrets of Jewish betrayal of the State.” The newspaper is sold everywhere, despite protests to the government.
Recently Dr. Riehl’s paper carried the statement that anti-Semitism was permitted in Austria and could not be considered anti-government. The declaration is regarded as an indication of the growing audacity of the Nazis here.
