While Chancellor Schuschnigg is visiting Paris, assuring the French government that he has the good-will of the entire population in Austria, his troops, known as the “Ostmarkische Sturmscharen,” accepted an invitation today from the anti-Semitic Association to participate in a conference which it is calling to discuss ways and means to oust the Jews from Austria.

The Anti-Semitic Association, which consists of representatives of different parties approving of anti-Semitism, has been active in Austria under the present regime and has been supported by government circles. Plans are now being put into effect by this organization for the purpose of introducing a campaign against Jews, not only in the fields of employment and free professions but also in commercial fields.
