5 Jewish Groups Aid Birth Control Measures

Five Jewish organizations have given their support to pending federal legislation which would permit dissemination of contraceptive information by responsible medical agencies, it was announced today by Dr. Robert Gordis, corresponding secretary of the National Committee on Federal Legislation for Birth Control.

The organizations are the Rabbinical Assembly, the Central Conference of American Rabbis, the Social Service Committee of the United Synagogues of America, the National Council of Jewish Women and the Federation of Jewish Women’s Organizations of Greater New York.
