Despite the promise given by the German representatives to the League of Nations that the Jews will not be molested in the Saar for twelve months, anti-Jewish posters appeared today in the streets of almost all towns in the Saar.

In Saarbruecken Jewish shop windows were defaced. Der Stuermer, anti-Semitic paper published by Julius Streicher in Nuremberg, is prominently displayed on every newsstand. Encouraged by the visiting Nazi storm troopers from Germany, members of the Deutsche Front, which hitherto restrained themselves with regard to Jews, are beginning to adopt the same anti-Jewish tactics as the ones adopted by the Nazis in Germany.
