The Non – Sectarian Anti – Nazi League has received from John Lunin, secretary of the Kings County Coal Merchants Association, report of a resolution passed by the association “penalizing with expulsion any member who handles or negotiates to handle German coke.”

It was disclosed at the meeting, on information supplied by investigators for the Anti-Nazi League, that the Stinnes interests are attempting to ship into the New York area thousands of tons of German coke at prices characterized by the league as “below dumping levels.” The league has issued a circular which charges that this is consigned to the account of a leading oil company and that it represents payment for shipments of petroleum into Germany.

Ludwig August Frankl’s poem hailing the Vienna revolution of 1848 enjoyed an enormous vogue while he himself fought against the government in the students’ legion.
