A 48-hour air mail service between Poland to Palestine will be inaugurated on April 1, it was announced today. Hitherto letters posted by air mail from Poland reached Palestine only on the fifth day.
The speedy delivery was made possible by a special arrangement between the air lines of Poland, Greece and England, operating on the Warsaw-Palestine line.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
