Rachel Axelrod, the Jewish actress who recently donated a house in Czernowitz for aged Jewish actors in memory of her husband, died in Czernowitz today at the age of 70.
Mrs. Axelrod was born in Jassy, Rumania. Her husband, Abraham, was a prominent Jewish actor.
