The plan was introduced by George Kareski, a leader of the Berlin Jewish community.
According to Mr. Kareski’s plan, all Jews can be taken out of Germany within twenty-five years in a systematic manner if the German government will lend its assistance in carrying out the project. It is believed that since the government is definitely interested in ousting the Jews, it will help in the orderly liquidation of the Reich’s Jewish communities.
Addressing a mass meeting in Nuremberg today, Dr. Wilhelm Frick, Minister of the Interior, openly praised Julius Streicher, the Nazi ruler of Nuremberg, for his anti-Semitic activities. “Our government has gone very far toward the goal advocated by Herr Streicher with regard to the Jews,” the Nazi Minister of the Interior said.
An attack on the Jews was made today by Dr. Paul Goebbels, Minister of Propaganda, addressing a meeting at Karlsruhe. “The Jews of the world,” Goebbels said, “would like to see Germany defenseless in order that they should be able to invade Berlin.” Dr. Goebbels emphasized that Nazi Germany will not give up its plans for rearmament.
Echoing Dr. Goebbels and Minister Frick, Herr Joseph Grohe, Nazi leader of Western Germany, addressing a meeting in Cologne today, declared that the Nazi government will continue its anti-Jewish policy unabated. “Anti-Semitism is an indestructible principle of our party,” Herr Grohe said.
In 1627 the University of Leyden created a chair of Christian polemics to defend the Christian religion against the attacks of Jewish theology and to convert Jews to Christianity.
