Committees have been formed to arrange the special features for the “Two-Time Party” to be given by Thrift House, the permanent rummage shop at 9 West Fifty-seventh street, of which Mrs. Julius Ochs Adler is chairman, on Saturday evening, April 13, in the former Dobbs Building at 742 Fifth avenue. The party is being held to celebrate the second anniversary of Thrift House, which has raised more than $52,000 in net proceeds during the two years of its existence for the Federaton for the Support of Jewish Philanthropic Societies.

The Jews of Daghestan, like their neighbors, used to go heavily armed, even wearing their weapons when they slept.
