Official circles here today denied reports circulated abroad that Jewish officers of the former German army have been recalled to serve in the Reichswehr, and that certain categories of Jews will be included in the German army during the present conscription.
Instructions issued today by Dr. Goebbels’ office to the German press include an order forbidding mention of the fact that one of the assistants to Dr. Schacht, the Minister of Economics, is a Jew.
