Aldermanic President Bernard S. Deutsch will be the guest of honor at a testimonial dinner tendered by the American Jewish Congress on May 7, at the Hotel Commodore, it was announced yesterday.
The dinner is being tendered to Mr. Deutsch in recognition of six years of service to the American Jewish Congress as president. Mr. #tsch refused to stand for re-election last month, owing to the pressure of his official duties as President of the Board of Aldermen. He was succeeded in the Presidency by Dr. Stephen S. Wise.
