British women who mary Palestinians are deemed not to have ceased to be British subjects, and do not therefore cease to be eligible for British passports, is the statement in a letter of the Commissioner for Migration to Mr. M. Seligman, a lawyer of Tel Aviv.

The advocate raised the matter in connection with a client who was originally charged with making a false declaration and was acquitted. This ruling is announced on behalf of the Secretary of State for the colonies
