A bequest of $3,000 were left to charity by William S. Manheimer who died on July 1, 1934, according to a transfer tax appraisal filed yesterday at the State Building here. Mr. Manheimer left a net estate of $251,027.
Of the $3,000, a third was left to the Federation for the Support of Jewish Philanthropic Societies while $500 was left each of the following: The Montefiore Hospital for Chronic Diseases, the Hospital for Joint Diseases, the Evelyn Goldsmith Home for Crippled Children, and the National Jewish Hospital of Denver.
