Charges of Nazi propaganda in the public schools of New York were made yesterday by the New York Teachers Anti-War League. The League demands an open hearing on these charges.
The League cited among others an article by Howard C. Leonard, a teacher of German at the Theodore Roosevelt High School which appeared in the student publication of that school and which is alleged to be partial to Hitlerism.
