Riots in which many Jews were attacked and the windows of a synagogue and numerous Jewish shops were smashed broke out during the Easter holidays in the township of Ryki near Warsaw.
The riots started when Jewish pedestrians were molested in the streets by anti-Semitic Polish youths. Samson Teichman, a Jewish merchant, was taken to the hospital, suffering serious injuries.
Anti-Jewish boycott posters leading to clashes between Jews and anti-Semitic Polish youths were displayed in the city of Chorzow, Upper Silesia. The posters were placed chiefly on the windows of Jewish shops. The Jews, trying to remove them, were attacked by the young Poles. Police intervened, but the posters reappeared later after having been removed under police supervision.
In Danzig many Jewish shops were plastered during the Easter holidays with anti-Jewish placards, and the walls of the main streets in the city were painted with anti-Jewish slogans.
