The Jewish question in Germany will again come to the forefront very soon, it is predicted today in the Angriff, the organ of Propaganda Minister Goebbels, published in Berlin.
The paper states that the government intends to get busy soon on the Jewish problem and to deal with it “with increased zeal.”
Being preoccupied with other important problems, the government has neglected the Jewish question, the paper states. This neglect will now be rectified. Certain privileges which the Jews in Germany are still enjoying will be drastically revised.
ADMITS LOYALTY OF JEWS
The paper admits that the Jews in Germany are quiet and loyal to the government. However, it objects to the fact that Jewish representatives from other countries occasionally visit Germany and “later make noise,” when they return to their own countries.
The “increased zeal” which the Angriff informs its readers will be exhibited soon by the government, foreshadows restrictions against Jews in commerce and other fields where they are still officially permitted to be active.
