Apparently anticipating defeat in the “Protocols” trial which entered into its third day today, the Nazis in Switzerland today openly attacked the court, accusing the judges of being “slaves of the Jews.”
The attack appeared in the Nazi paper, Der Allemagne, published here. It provoked great consternation in court today.
“If this is ‘Aryan’ spirit, then I would rather give up being an “Aryan’,” the presiding judge stated in court today, interrupting the proceedings to denounce the vicious article in the Nazi paper.
NAZI TESTIFIES
Col. Ulrich Fleischhauer, the Nazi expert at the trial in which the Federation of Jewish Communities in Switzerland accuses the Nazis of spreading the forged “Protocols,” continued with his “expert” testimony in court today, after six hours of testifying yesterday. Contrary to the expectation that he would conclude his testimony today, the Nazi “expert” occupied the entire afternoon and will continue to testify tomorrow.
One of Fleischhauer’s assistants in court, Dr. Eugen Engelhart, is a member of the staff of the German Ministry of Propaganda, the Jewish Telegraphic Agency established today.
NAMES “AUTHORS”
During his testimony today, Col. Fleischhauer insisted that Achad Ha’am, the late Zionist spiritual leader, and “perhaps Dr. Herzl too.” were the composers of the “Protocols.” He quoted paragraphs of their writings as well as articles from the Jewish press, and asserted that “the Hebrew Prophets declared that the object of the Jews is to eat up the “Aryans.”
